[slackware64-current] Emacs Input with SCIM and Anthy Not Working
by resttime from LinuxQuestions.org on (#52Y9N)
Hi all, I'm wondering how to get SCIM input working on Emacs to use a Japanese IME called Anthy.
CTRL-SHIFT-SPACE is able to toggle the input method in applications like firefox, xfce4-terminal, gim (vim), and etc. but falls through when using Emacs specifically.
I can select the builtin input method as japanese-anthy for a workaround, but I'm not sure why this is required when the other applications work already.
