Laptop - Lock Screen on Suspend - Close lid

Hi All,

I have been using Bodhi for a number of years now. When I first installed it on Macbook Air(2010) I had an issue with the screen not locking when the lid was closed and the system suspended.

Somehow I fixed (kid of) the above behaviour but I cannot remember how.

I have now installed Bodhi 5.1.0 on a Dell Latitude E7450. I am experiencing the same behaviour. I am able to lock the screen with ctrl + alt + l. I can also lock the screen with '/usr/bin/enlightenment_remote -desktop-lock' at the CLI.

Could anybody point me in the right direction? None of the settings in the Bodhi settings panel, such as lock on suspend, have any effect.

I remember vaguely that systemd was handling the lid close and I had to set HandleLidSwitch=ignore in /etc/systemd/logind.conf. I have tried this but it appears that the lid close it not recognised at all if I do this despite the ACPI settings in Bodhi.

Thanks in advance,
