windows not working after installling nvidia driver for linux (dual boot)

hey people ..
not gonna waste your time
so i dual booted my windows and kali linux
everything worked fine but linux kept stopping for every 2 mins .. so to fix it i went and edited something where i added nouveau.modeset=0 in command line.. thats a temporary fix
for a permanent fix i installed nvidia drivers for kali linux
here comes the problem when i installed nvidia drivers for linux my windows stopped working
i used to get a srttrail error and then after i did a chkdsk command in windows through recovery command mode i now get a black screen
my linux is working perfect
but my windows is not working
need help
