Pet Project Part 1: The dog, cat, rabbit and lizard days of COVID-19 quarantine

We asked, and boy, did you answer.

It's no secret that everyone loves their pets. Our furry friends keep us amused, provide unconditional love, and, in these uncertain times, can be a much needed anchor to keep us grounded.

It comes as no surprise that you sent us your photos. Dogs, cats, bearded dragons, hamsters, guinea pigs, horses, rabbits, and birds have filled my inbox.

Photos by the dozens. Cats being cats; dogs being their wonderful goofy selves. And, perhaps much like their quarantined owners, lots of photos of animals sleeping, or just chilling on the couch.

Face it. We've reached our COVID limit. We need a new perspective. We need to see life through our pets' eyes right about now. Coronavirus? All they know is that everyone is home, they get more walks and treats, and life is good.
