Hi there,
Am installing Slackware 32-bit 14.2 on a Compaq nx9010 laptop. Made the ISO CD ok, ran through the install 3 times to get it right but no worries. Did not install LILO (or Grub).
When I boot I get:
error: file 'boot/grub/i386-pc/normal.mod' not found
then it enters:
grub rescue>
