Audio ports are mixed up
by sniff from LinuxQuestions.org on (#538RE)
Hello,
I have an annoying problem. I am running Kubuntu 18.04 LTS (updated) and I have speakers connected to the motherboard at the back, to the line out port.
However, to get sound out of the speakers I have to select 'headphones' in the options in Audio and Video settings. The backend I am running is Phonon GStreamer.
I feel like this problem has emerged recently, but I am not sure why/when. Is this something that can be adjusted in a config file somewhere?
Thanks!
