Tuukka Rask is indecisive.

The Boston Bruins netminder said in March that retiring after his contract expires in 2021 was "a possibility." However, on Monday, he contradicted his earlier statement.

"I haven't thought about retirement at all," he told The Athletic's Joe McDonald.

The 33-year-old is showing no signs of slowing down, either. He owns a .929 save percentage and a league-best 2.12 goals-against average in 41 games this season.

"Winning drives me," he said. "I haven't put a number into it that what age it might be, but we'll see. Maybe it's 36, or 37. Maybe it's 42. Maybe I'll be the goalie who plays to 45, maybe not."

The 2014 Vezina Trophy winner ranks first on the Bruins' all-time wins list. He carried the team to two Stanley Cup Finals in 2013 and 2019 but lost both, and backed up Tim Thomas when Boston won the Cup in 2011.
