Which in your opinion is the best virtualization software that could suit my system?

Hi,
I have a laptop with dual boot: Win 10 and Linux Mint 19
CPU i7 RAM: 16GB SSD: 512GB
I use 90% of the time Linux, but sometime I need to use specific Software in Windows; in that case I have to reboot and enter Windows 10 and back again in Linux.
My idea, therefore, is to run my own Windows 10 machine as a virtual machine in Linux, in order to use 100% of the time Linux.
Years ago I used VirtualBox, but once, after automatic update the system messed up.
I've heard of several free software for virtualization.

- Which virtualization software do you think could suit my system and my needs (for personal use)?
- Is there a way to "virtualize" my Windows 10 partition?
