Which in your opinion is the best virtualization software that could suit my system?

Hi,
I have a laptop with dual boot: Win 10 and Linux Mint 19
CPU i7 RAM: 16GB SSD: 512GB

I use 90% of the time Linux, but sometime I need to use specific Software in Windows; in that case I have to reboot and enter Windows 10 and back again in Linux.
My idea, therefore, is to run my own Windows 10 machine as a virtual machine in Linux, in order to use 100% of the time Linux.

Years ago I used VirtualBox, but once, after automatic update the system messed up.
I've heard of several free software for virtualization.
  1. Which virtualization software do you think could suit my system and my needs (for personal use)?
  2. Is there a way to "virtualize" my Windows 10 partition?
Best regards
