Terminal keeps printing same string

Apologies in advance if I don't describe this problem clearly / with the right terms. Please feel free to correct me haha.
Okay so I have an issue where my terminal keeps printing the following string
set_color: Unknown color {foreground.strip}"
on startup and after each command.
My default shell is fish and I have a hunch I could probably fix this in a dotfile somewhere.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks!
