Trouble installing a printer (Cannon Maxify 2750)

As stated in the title, I'm having trouble installing the machine.
I've downloaded the drivers from the manufacturer website. After realizing these were actually source packages, trying to build I get an unsatisfied dependency (libcupsys2-dev), which seems to be unavailable on the Debian repositories.
What can I do to solve this issue?
