Lines of code in code blocks

Is it possible to see more than 5 lines in code blocks? I always have to click in the box and scroll to see the rest of the code, or is there some trick to it?
If 5 lines is the forum default it seems a bit restrictive. I can't see anything in my control panel/options for it.
