Jami.net "Migration in Progress" forever
by SUSESailor from LinuxQuestions.org on (#53M8J)
Okay, I gave up on Zoom, and am trying to get Jami.net running for video calls. Again, the software installs fine, but after I tried to create a local account, the window disappeared. When I relaunched the application, it came up with a window entitled "Migration needed," that says "Migration in Progress."
Now that window will not go away, and the computer doesn't appear to be doing anything in the meanwhile. My process manager shows dozens of iterations of /usr/lib/ring/dring, but none of them seem to be using any CPU resources.
I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the Jami.net application, but even after the re-install, when I launched it it went straight to that window.
Thanks in advance!
