I Killed the Terminal During VLC Download - Now It Won't Re-Download

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04. I executed sudo snap install vlc and VLC appeared to be downloading. Then I accidentally killed the terminal. Now when I execute sudo snap install vlc, Ubuntu gives me a message saying "error: Download already in progress" but VLC is clearly not downloading. How can I start over or get rid of what was in progress. I'm simply trying to get VLC installed. Thanks. :)
