lumina

The lumina SlackBuild on SBo was updated to version 1.6.0.
The Lumina Desktop Environment (Lumina for short) is a lightweight, XDG-compliant, BSD-licensed desktop environment that focuses specifically on streamlining the ability to get work done while minimizing system overhead.
It was specifically developed for Project Trident, https://project-trident.org/ that was previously based on FreeBSD. Now Project Trident is based on Void Linux, so I expect better compatibility with Slackware. It is based on the Qt graphical toolkit and the Fluxbox window manager (although it runs better in kwin IMHO), and uses a small number of X utilities for various tasks, such as numlockx and xscreensaver.
lumina-pdf and lumina-calculator are recommended for the complete desktop experience.
My experience with V.1.6.0 has been mainly positive; it seems far more stable than the previous versions.
A wiki with some hints may be found here: https://docs.slackware.com/howtos:wi...anagers:lumina
Enjoy.
