realtek 8111H land contoller
by debianlearner from LinuxQuestions.org on (#53XSA)
I understand that there have been problems using the
Realtek 8111H lan controller (fitted to many otherboards)
with Debian. Someone suggested using the
Intel EXP1930CTBLK PRO1000 network PCIe card to get round this problem.
Then I discovered that Debian Buster may have a Realtek
non-free package as part of its stable release, which overcomes
the 8111H problem.
Does anyone know what the situation is exactly ?
