Problem with Hatari and GEMDOS hard disk emulation
by Ratamahatta from LinuxQuestions.org on (#541VH)
Hello.
So far Hatari runs quite OK emulating an ST. The only issue is that at least two games on my relatively new Hatari install don't manage to write to the GEMDOS emulated hard disk. I can create folders and files from the ST desktop and copy/delete them and that is properly reflected in my underlying linux folders. But the one game warns that highscores are only saved when the disk (meaning floppy disk) is not write protected and the other tells me the disk was full and prompts me to change the disk.
I can write to floppy disk images. It's just the GEMDOS HD that seems problematic.
Any advice? Should I create some sort of hard disk image for Hatari to use?
