Linux Distro LiveOS Boot USB question
by majukic from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5424S)
Hi Guys
I'm trying to create a "working" Kodachi LiveOS USB and I keep getting failures no matter if I use UniversalUSB, Rufus, etc. I created a successful Kodachi LiveOS that boots from by xubuntu OS but it just won't work from Windows 10 OS (multiple computers still a fail).
I'm running a Kodachi with no Persistance and with 2GB Persistance and both are a no go. The error message I get is:
overlayfs:unrecognized mount option "lowerdir=" or missing value
mount:mounting /cow on /root failed: invalid argument overlay mount failed
then theres a Busybox commands option init ramfs
A bit frustrating given I've tried 20 various alternative parameters in rufus, universal usb etc
Any ideas peeps?
