What tasks/projects do after learning the basics of Linux Command line and Shell scripting

I am completely aware it might be a wide-open question, however as elementary learner I was wondering what step should I take once it's acquired the basic Linux commands and also Bash shell scripting course. So, in order to have a solvent basic knowledge I'd like to get some suggestions to put in practice my skills by doing useful tasks or small projects that common users usually implement. What about servers, networks , automate scripts...?
