West Lincoln man, 29, killed in rollover crash Wednesday morning
Police say a 29-year-old West Lincoln man was killed early Wednesday morning after he was ejected from a vehicle that lost control and rolled over, driving into a ditch.
Just before 1:30 a.m., June 3 emergency responders were called to the area of a Sixteen Road near Shaw Road. The initial investigation determined that a Nissan, containing the driver and two passengers, was heading eastbound on Sixteen Road when the driver lost control and entered a ditch, resulting in the rollover.
Two of the occupants were thrown from the vehicle.
Police say the 29-year-old West Lincoln man, who is believed to have been the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two men from Hamilton, aged 25 and 22, were taken to Hamilton General Hospital. The 25-year-old is in serious, but stable condition, while the 22-year-old is in stable condition.
Police say the circumstances of the incident remain under investigation by detectives in the Niagara Regional Police Service collision reconstruction unit, the forensic service unit, the traffic enforcement unit and the office of the Coroner.
