Confusion about first post

Hi LQ group,
I posted a question yesterday, and it said it needed to be moderated first. I keep logging back in to see if it's been moderated, but instead I keep seeing a notice at the top of the page prompting me to post my first question. Was my other first question not received? If it was, and it's still being moderated, I would suggest not having that bar show up after the user has submitted their first question.
