dockbar-x and python2-wnck in -current
by giomat from LinuxQuestions.org on (#54FMC)
i'm trying to compile the xfce dockbarx plugin in -current.
xfce is the 4.12 version in the regular repo.
Compilation went fine but the plugin is missing form the panel menu, so i checked the dockx command and it fails complaining about a python2 "wnck" module.
As i understand this module should be in the python2 compatibility package that was recently added, because it was part of slackware 14.2, but it isn't there. Once I grabbed the source from the debian archives and installed manually (together with python2-xlib and python3-keybinders??? from pip) dockx finally starts on its own, but i still can't get the plugin to show in the xfce panel menu. Perhaps xfce needs to be bumped to version 4.14?
