Can I get one answer...ONE...on how to create a live cd of my lfs build?
by voncloft from LinuxQuestions.org on (#54H4C)
I have a lfs build that is saved to a USB using rsync to back it up.
I want to make it into a bootable iso with syslinux/isolinux
The problem is google keeps saying "Well I assume I know you know this.... so do this, I'll leave out what you need because I assume you should know"
I just want someone anyone to give me "Step 1 do 'x' step 2 do 'y' step 3 'do z'"
Really spending one week on this project I should have gotten somewhere with this.
How the heck does ubuntu, mint, etc....create live cd's so easily, yet this "secret" of creating live cd's is hidden. For how "open source" linux is this tid bit of information is hidden behind locked doors.
Waiting a half hour for a iso to be created to test out on a virtualbox is becoming tiresome to find out "welp...that failed, lets make this change and wait a half hour to try again" .... only to go "welp....back to square one lets see if google has an answer...oh lets try this vague setup"
