AWUS036NEH not showing AP's in monitor mode

Hi
This is my first post ,I hope someone can help
The Awus036neh is on the list of compatible wifi adapters for Kali linux, It has the rt3070 chipset
But if you search all the forums you will find that there is a problem with this adapter. I have tried all the recommended fixes to no avail
I also have a awus036acm which works fine
But when I run Airodump-ng wlan0mon on the awus036neh I get no output
My question is
Is there anyone that has a awus036neh working OK ,If so can you list all relevant versions of software and hardware you are using
