Vp9 hardware acceleration on Chromium

Good day,
I have been lurking forever, so this is my first post here. I have searched here and elsewhere to try to get VP9 to work with Chromium, similar to the instructions here:

Unfortunately that's all Ubuntu-ish, has anyone managed to get this working on Slackware? I am using current with an Nvidia 2070 using the proprietary drivers.
I am probably missing something simple to do?
