The acting CEO of the NRL has said the tide is turning" and codes need to support players who protest against racism on the field, while a Collingwood AFLW player called on AFL clubs to apologise to players like Adam Goodes and Heritier Lumumba.
On Monday, a panel of Australia's top sporting representatives said on the ABC's Q+A program that Australian sport had a problem with racism and that sporting bodies needed to start taking action.
