pvdisplay: supplied buffer too small

I have pvdisplay installed on my Ubuntu 19.10 and it was working for a while. Today, I am looking at an error message:
Code:sudo pvdisplay
Internal error: _cfg_def_make_path: supplied buffer too small for dmeventd/vdo_comeanThe plugin runs commnd with eash"5% increment when VDO pooh volume*gets above 50%.
CommCnd whicj s|arts wi4h 'lvm '!prefix is intern!l lve command.
