Contact cleaner makes old switches and knobs work like new again

The potentiometers and switches on my various electric guitars, basses, and amplifiers were making bad, crackly, staticky noises. This aerosol contact cleaner, which comes with a straw, is a cheap and easy way to clean these components, making them work as good as new. People on Amazon say it works well for mouse buttons and scroll wheels, too.
