Thunderbird NFS profile

OK, I'll try and condense this.

I use Arch Linux almost (now - and probably pretty much anyway) on both my desktop and laptop.

I have a RaspberryPi (running the up to date OS) hosting NFS.

I have a VPS in another country running Debian, where I host my own email server.

I use Thunderbird as my email client.

This week, I accidentally (yes, accidentally) installed Windows 10 on one of my HDs in the desktop (including two SSDs, there are 5). The intention was to install to an USB HD, but mistakes were made. Fortunately, the important data loss was minimal, and easily replaced.

Anyhoo, back to the issue. My TB profile is stored on the NFS drive on the Pi. This works well on my desktop and laptop (not at the same time of course) in Arch.

I figured I might as well add Windows into the mix, and the NFS drive mounts just fine, and I've mapped the email folder in Windows with no problem.

However, starting TB with --profilemanager and selecting the email "drive" (I have the email folder mapped to a drive in Windows), it simply doesn't respect it, and prompts me to create/configure an email account.

the NFS drive at the Pi end is ext4, but that shouldn't matter since Windows just sees NFS.

Is there anything more I need to do to have Windows respect an NFS/ext4 profile.

AFAIK, profiles are portable across the platforms.latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=vHZvwlwQhLE:Y4m_AMa_tbY:F7zBnMy latest?i=vHZvwlwQhLE:Y4m_AMa_tbY:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=vHZvwlwQhLE:Y4m_AMa_tbY:gIN9vFwvHZvwlwQhLE
