Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin revealed Tuesday that two players from his team tested positive for COVID-19 sometime in the spring, according to Teresa Varley of the Steelers' official site.

Tomlin added that neither player was in the team facility, and both have since returned to work.

Von Miller, Sean Payton, and Ezekiel Elliott are among the big-name NFLers who have tested positive for the coronavirus.

Elliott is among several Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans players that reportedly contracted the COVID-19 virus. At least two Tampa Bay Buccaneers players reportedly also tested positive.

The United States is experiencing a spike in COVID-19 cases. More than half of all U.S. states reported a rise in new coronavirus cases Monday, according to the Guardian.
