The Baltimore Ravens and Seattle Seahawks have had internal discussions about possibly signing wide receiver Antonio Brown, according to Michael Silver of NFL Network.

There is a sense the Seahawks will eventually add to their receiving core, perhaps by re-signing Josh Gordon, who is awaiting reinstatement from the NFL suspension list and will be an unrestricted free agent, reports NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Brown has been linked to the Seahawks and Ravens before. Russell Wilson was rumored to be clamoring for Seattle to sign Brown last year, while Baltimore drafted his cousin, Marquise Brown, in the first round of the 2019 draft.

Amid a host of off-field issues, Brown played in only one game last year, catching four passes for 56 yards and a touchdown as a member of the New England Patriots.

The 31-year-old is still waiting for the NFL to complete its investigation of a sexual assault allegation brought forth in September by his former personal trainer. Based on the league's findings, Brown could face a lengthy suspension before he's eligible to play again.

From 2010-18, Brown was one of the best receivers in the league. He surpassed 1,400 yards receiving four times in five years between 2013 and 2017, and he led the NFL in touchdown catches with 15 in 2018.

Brown recently pleaded no contest to a battery charge that stemmed from a January altercation with a moving truck driver and received two years probation as part of the arrangement.
