The NFL will conduct anti-racism training with all 32 teams in July, executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent said Thursday, according to The Athletic's Lindsay Jones.

The announcement was made amid the recent rise in racial tensions across the country that has led to numerous public protests.

Publicly, the league has stepped up its effort to combat discrimination since players began speaking out against the death of George Floyd, police brutality, and system racism.

In addition to supporting the Black Lives Matter campaign, the NFL recently committed $250 million over a 10-year period to organizations that fight systemic racism. The NFL also expanded its diversity rules for hiring head coaches and top football executives, and has designed initiatives aimed to foster connections between minorities and owners or other top decision-makers.
