EFI issue in openSUSE 15.2
by zaivala from LinuxQuestions.org on (#55H36)
I am one of those filthy multibooters. I installed openSUSE 15.2 Leap, mostly for the purpose of reviewing it for my podcast, Distrohoppers' Digest. I got it completely installed... except for it reported that it couldn't find an EFI partition of at least 550 Mb. This is odd, since my EFI partition is over 2 Gb. But so it went. I have a fully installed version of openSUSE and I can't boot to it.
The question is, how do I get openSUSE to recognize my EFI partition and write boot?
I looked at efibootmgr and it does not look full, nor does it have any ghosts of old EFI boots jammed in there.
It's all a learning experience. Please help me learn.
