Gimp issues with Linux Mint 20

Good day!
I did a manual upgrade yesterday to Linux Mint 20 from 19/3. All when well and everything for the most part is great.
All but one thing.
When I am creating a thumbnail current Gimp will not show any numbers.
What i Get instead of numbers is a BOX with numbers in it. 00/30
I am assuming I am missing something. All packages are up to date
