Entire screen blacks out for 2-3 seconds after starting youtube video

Built a new desktop. Got everything ready installed AMD drivers. Its a Debian buster 10.4 newest version.
Every time right before a youtube video starts, the screen blacks out for a couple seconds.
I've tried videos on other sites and the same thing happens. It also happens when I skip to a certain point in a video, or if I switch to a firefox tab with a youtube video in it.
Obviously this is not the most enormous problem but it is very annoying.
Yes I've tried using different monitors and browsers but it still happens.
