Hamilton police say they seized drugs, cash and brass knuckles after finding a man slumped over the steering wheel of a running vehicle early Saturday.

Police patrolling in the area of South Service Road and Centennial Parkway North spotted the Nissan Rogue SUV in a parking lot around 6:30 a.m. July 18.

The vehicle was running and the driver appeared slumped over the steering wheel, police said.

Police allege the man was impaired by drug and he was arrested.

When searching the vehicle police allege they found $1,100, fentanyl, methamphetamine and brass knuckles.

The 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, is charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, impaired driving by drug, two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl and methamphetamine), proceeds of crime under $5,000 and fail to comply with a release order.
