One dead in crash on Lincoln Alexander Parkway

One person is dead after an early morning crash on the Lincoln Alexander Parkway.
A stretch of Linc remains closed in both directions between Garth Street and Upper Wentworth Street for the investigation by the collision reconstruction unit.
It's expected to remain closed throughout the morning commute.
The crash, which involved several people, happened just after 4 a.m. Monday, July 20, in the westbound lanes of the parkway, east of Garth Street, police said.
Police have not yet released any details about the deceased person.
The crash is under investigation.
