DKIM logging not working

I'm trying to debug a non-working DKIM. I've installed opendkim from SboBuilds. In my /etc/opendkim.conf file I have:
Code:LogWhy yes
Syslog yes
SyslogSuccess yesNothing ever gets logged to /var/log/syslog. Why? (opendkim is running)
Slackware64 14.2 (up-to-date)
