Icon issue with kdocker in Mint 20 Cinnamon

Been looking at Mint 20 Cinnamon, and I'm not sure about it any more: a number of things that were fine in v.19 seem to be a bit screwed up now.

Example:

I've been using this code to minimize apps to the tray, using "kdocker" because it normally lets me pick the icon.
Code:kdocker -d30 -i <icon file> <command to open app>
It works for a minute and then it seems Mint is changing the icon to a really weird one (for just some of these little things.)

This works fine:
Code:kdocker -d30 -i /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/pulseeffects.svg /usr/bin/pulseeffectsThese 2 do not:
Code:kdocker -d30 -i /usr/share/icons/HighContrast/scalable/apps-extra/thunderbird-icon.svg /usr/bin/thunderbirdCode:kdocker -d30 -i /usr/share/icons/Nitrux/apps/48/chromium.svg /usr/bin/chromium %UHaving the same icon repeated in the tray defeats the purpose.
