oddball renaming script
by mattdawolf from LinuxQuestions.org on (#56DXY)
Hey there. I downloaded a bunch of Game Grumps eps with youtube-dl. Sadly, they are not conveniently named/ordred.
Here are some examples of the filenames:
Katamari Forever - Kawaii George Clooney - PART 15 - Game Grumps-07opZUJZwgo.mkv
Dead Rising 2 - You're On Fire, Dude! - PART 8 - Game Grumps-DWRKi2hDotE.mkv
With these, a simple transposition would work but I do not know how to do that.
Sometimes the naming scheme is like this
Super Bomberman R Explosions Galore - PART 1 - Game Grumps VS.mp4
No - separates the game from the title.
What is the best way to conveniently rename ~1000 files?
