I haven't done a fresh installation in a couple of weeks, so I don't know if the above is still a problem, but something new has happened twice this last week.
I usually turn the computer off at night, but early this last week left it on for over 48 hours. It was disconnected, via NetworkManager, from the Internet. One morning, afer it had been on for a little over 2-1/2 days, I went to connect to the 'Net and received the error,
