wifi fast then slow
by rick0612 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#56RD9)
Hello All,
I am having an odd problem with my wifi. Upon initial boot up, laptop A wifi works great! Mail, websites, samba server access, everything is fast. After some time (varies but not too long) everything slows way down. Mail, websites and samba server access take a very long time to connect and sometimes timeout.
This issue started about two weeks ago but I was moving so let it go. Now I am in a different house with a different router and the issue persists.
Obviously the problem is with laptop A because I have another laptop (B) that works fine.
Both laptops are loaded with KDE Neon and fully up to date as of 10 Aug 2020.
I'm not new to linux but I am getting old and slow. My memory isn't as good as it once was.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
