OpenSSL Error trying to verify a private key

I am trying to verify an SSL certificate. But when I do that I get an error and then a usage appears:

Code:openssl x509 -in openssl x509 -in server_certificate.pem -text -noout -text -noout
unknown option x509
usage: x509 argsWhy is it doing that? How can I run this command correctly?
