Move system directory

How would i move /usr/share to /home/share?
/dev/sda1 is root but /dev/sdb4 is /home.
/dev/sda has 16gb and is full. The best way i could figure to make space is to move share. so i mv /usr/share /home then ln -s /home/share /usr/share.
But now my system is borked. Any ideas?
