Hello from this new user

I just downloaded mint cinnamon 20 on Saturday and can see that I have a lot to learn. I came here because my windows 7 sony vaio was getting slower and slower. I am very happy with the results so far.

Any suggestions about learning more and especially importing files from windows is appreciated.
