apt-get update not working in AWS EC2 Ubuntu 16.04

Hello,
When I am trying to run the below command:
Code:apt-get updateThen I am getting stucked with below response:
Code:0% [Connecting to ap-south-1.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com (54.248.204.122)] [Connecting to security.ubuntu.com (91.189.88.142)]Any suggestions would be appreciated.
