The Miami Dolphins traded former second-round linebacker Raekwon McMillan and a 2021 fifth-round pick to the Las Vegas Raiders for a 2021 fourth-rounder, the teams announced Saturday.

Miami selected McMillan 54th overall in 2017 after he enjoyed a decorated three-season career at Ohio State.

The 24-year-old missed his entire rookie campaign due to a torn ACL but bounced back in his sophomore season, racking up 105 tackles and two forced fumbles through 16 games.

McMillan, who's entering the final year of his rookie deal, amassed 72 tackles in 13 contests last season. He was Miami's best run defender among those who appeared in at least 12 games, according to PFF.

The Dolphins signed linebackers Elandon Roberts and Kamu Grugier-Hill in free agency, and they're now expected to share snaps alongside Jerome Baker in the middle of the defense.

The Raiders, meanwhile, also added to the linebacker position earlier in the offseason, landing free-agent defenders Cory Littleton and Nick Kwiatkoski.
