Grimsby man charged in Hamilton police drug trafficking investigation
A 21-year-old Grimsby man is facing gun and drug charges after an in-depth" Hamilton police investigation into drug trafficking in the city.
The investigation by Hamilton's gangs and weapons enforcement unit led police to search an address and car near North Service Road and Winston Road in Grimsby on Thursday, Aug. 27.
With the help of tactical officers from the emergency response unit, police arrested the 21-year-old in his car. When he was searched, police allegedly found cocaine, Percocet pills and cash.
Police allege they also found a loaded Glock handgun inside his car, a two-door Mercedes Benz sedan that was also seized.

The cocaine seized is valued at $4,800 and the Percocet pills at $200.
