Why does "mount -a" disrespect me?

I do weekly full backups because of REASONS. I have 4 partitions of 3GB each 2 are backup drives and two are "data" drives.

I fixed the problem with my "mount -a" command by restarting all drives manually {/dev/sda1, /dev/sdb1, /dev/sdc1, /dev/sdc2, /dev/sdc3, /dev/sdc4, /dev/sdd1}

Not a big problem but previously {with the "mount -a" command most drives were pointing to the wrong partition}.

WHY?????

{I had a stroke in 2011, and I have brain-damage because of my stroke}

Just asking, I cherish this forum for answering my silly questions.
