A judge in Richmond, Virginia has ordered that Kanye West be removed from the state's ballot as a candidate for the 2020 presidential election.

The judge ordered the Virginia State Board of Elections to not print Kanye West's name on the November presidential ballot, and said that 11 of the 13 required Elector Oaths obtained by his campaign were improper, fraudulent or misleading.

The Kanye For President was widely believed to be a Republican operation, by any other name.

Kanye West was represented by Chris Kowalczuk, who is described in this 2003 story as a "hard-core Republican."

He emphasized West's race to the Black judge at least three times as a reason to avoid a rushed judgement.https://t.co/cQMQaddnQc

We'll know soon whether Kanye West's name will be stricken from Virginia's ballots.

West's attorney kept asking for a delay, which the judge denied. He acknowledged the allegations against West's campaign were "very serious" but argued they needed more time to vet the evidence. pic.twitter.com/o8LGKVrOks
