Installing Mint 19 beside Slackware 14.2?

I am pleased to have just installed Slackware 14.2 on an old Asus Eee pc 32 bit. It works well so far. I left free disk space during partitioning and want to install Mint 19 on it too. It is a test. Slackware uses LILO and when installing Mint, I then may be able to install Grub? And both options will appear at start up?

Any advice or links for this action?
